CLO LEAGUE ATTORNEY
JOB INFORMATION
The United Powerball League is seeking a chief attorney to be a member of our board of directors. The league attorney is the general counsel board member that will oversee all legal affairs for the UPL. They draw up contracts and bylaws for the league, and ensure that the league operates within those laws. The league attorney should create an effective guardian for the league, and facilitate developmental strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide expert and strategic legal advice to UPL directors.

Develop and implement UPL bylaws and contracts.

Evaluate the impact of multiple decisions, and any courses of action regarding league policy, finance, marketing, sales, and human recourses.

Strategically anticipate internal and external issues.

Identify proactive solutions to eliminate risks.

Make logical decisions based on ethics and integrity.

Develop trusted and respected relationships with UPL members and partners.

Meet legal objectives and stay aware of legislative changes.
REQUIREMENTS

BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree.

MA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an asset.

understanding of national and international labor, trademark, media, and copyright laws.

5+ Years proven general counseling experience in a business environment.

A knowledge and understanding of professional sports laws and procedures.

As the general counsel CLO, they meet with other UPL officers and partners to discuss all legal matters. They are responsible for developing league contracts and policies, and overseeing all issues regarding league policy, finance, marketing & sales, and human recourses. The League attorney is selected by the existing board of directors.
CMO DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL SERVICES
JOB INFORMATION
The United Powerball League is seeking a Physician to join the executive team on a full-time basis. The CMO of the league has the responsibility of establishing the medical direction, and obtain accurate information about injuries and injury prevention for our sport. As the director of medical services, some responsibilities include developing a Health and Safety Policy and ensuring that UPL medical research funds are used favorably.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and implement the clinical direction of the UPL.

Physiologically analyze the sport to develop a Health and Safety Policy for the league.

Ensure that the leagues medical documents and medical research strate gies are always up to date.

Train the teams' medical staff on league policies, and evaluate league events as the chief physician.

Develop community relationships and partnerships for better service.

Frequently meet with the UPL board of directors.
REQUIREMENTS
-
Four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
-
A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) Master of Health Administration (MHA) , Master of Public Health (MPH), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare are all beneficial but not required.

5+ years professional experience in sports medical care.

Effective leadership skills to guide an entire medical team and implement valid health plans.

Strong business acumen to organize financial, human resources, legal, and political aspects of healthcare is essential.

good organizational skills to manage a budget and keep personnel records.

Technical skills to review and oversee electronic health records, and to convey information clearly to other medical directors and the public.

CFO LEAGUE ACCOUNTANT
JOB INFORMATION
The United Powerball League is Seeking an accountant to join our team of executives on a full-time basis. The Chief Financial Officer has the responsibility of planning, implementing, managing and analyzing all financial-related activities of the United Powerball League. They report to the UPL board of directors to advise long term and short term financial planning. The league accountant is the leader in evaluating team and UPL member finances.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee league-wide finance, including labor and club finance, operational finance plus accounting, tax and treasury.

Planning, implementing, managing and analyzing all financial-related activities of the United Powerball League.

Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

Participate in key financial decisions as a member of the executive team.
-
Compile and analyze financial information in order to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.

Maintain up to date financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

Lead a group of accountants and teams' financial advisors.

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
REQUIREMENTS

BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.

The League accountant holds an executive position on the UPL board of directors. The CFO reports to the league executives to construct and implement the overall financial strategy. The league accountant should assure that all financial and tax information is up to date and in compliance with state and local regulatory laws.
LEAGUE DEVELOPMENT STAFF
JOB INFORMATION
The United Powerball League is looking for sports enthusiasts with leadership qualities to join the league development staff. League development trainers are educated on the rules and regulations of Powerball, and the UPL. Most UPL trainers have the responsibility of leading and promoting league events. They will physically educate and train prospective players, coaches, and referees to meet UPL standards. Trainers should be familiar with techniques and skills associated with other sports like basketball, football, soccer, or team handball.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop an expert knowledge and understanding of the the sport- Power ball, and the United Powerball League.

Educate and train prospective Powerball players, coaches, and referees to meet the leagues standards.

Manage and direct league clinics, combines, and community events.
-
Develop strategies and techniques that demonstrate and improve the abilities of Powerball and the players.
REQUIREMENTS

8 hours of training on Powerball fundamentals and UPL regulations.

Physical ability to train prospective athletes by demonstrating and instructing various training methods.

A general understanding of the techniques and skills associated with other sports like basketball, football, soccer, or team handball.

Self-motivated leadership qualities.

An ability to encourage and educate prospective athletes.
League development trainers are required at least 8 hours of training before joining the league. These paid training sessions are required in order to learn the fundamentals of Powerball and the regulations of the UPL. League development trainers are responsible for instructing and teaching prospective athletes during league functions. These individuals are trendsetters, as they strategically innovate the sport, and pave the way for future Powerball enthusiast.
